Language in Learning Across the Curriculum (LILAC)

The Lilac course aims to develop teachers’ knowledge about language and language strategies: supporting students in talking, reading and writing the distinctive academic language of school subjects. This course is running in Manchester starting in June 2013.

In partnership with the University of Birmingham, NASSEA offers a distance learning course aimed at specialist teachers of EAL leading to a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or a Master’s Degree in Bilingualism in Education .
